In this second book of the Ruben series, the reader learns about the deepening friendship between Jesus and Ruben, just as Joseph predicted in the first Ruben book, RUBEN: Grandpa Jacob's First Christmas Donkey.
In this captivating story, Ruben: My Friend Jesus is lost in Jerusalem, the author offers a new and exciting presentation of this sacred biblical event. He brings a realistic approach to this dramatic story that can easily parallel any family vacation.

Author Bio: Ernie LaPalme, one of seventeen children, was born on a farm in Hammond, Ontario, a small community some 40 kilometres east of Ottawa. He retired from teaching in 1991 and now lives in Brantford, Ontario, with his wife, Shirley. Among his many accomplishments, he founded the Canadian Open Country Singing Contest, held annually in Simcoe, Ontario, since 1975. He enjoys playing his fiddle and musical spoons for the elders and the sick. If you cannot find him at his computer working on his Ruben series, you will probably find him in his hobby shop working on the completion of his third violin. He plans to make at least seven violins, one for each of his grandchildren. |
