I have always been interested in wildlife conservation and I try to show this in my realistic painting style. The purpose of my paintings is to create awareness in the viewer that all animals are unique. They deserve to be free and should not be hurt or killed by anyone. I became interested in the snow leopard because it is so beautiful and also because it is among the most endangered of the world’s great cats. In some parts of the world, these animals are on the brink of extinction through hunting and loss of habitat. Offered in limited edition giclée prints on watercolor paper or canvas, Michael’s work is done in either acrylic or a combination of mediums.
