Featured in the KW Record, Lifestyle Magazine and the Waterloo Chronicle. Derek has appeared and preformed cooking demonstrations on CKCO TV and Rogers Cable Television and has also been interviewed on CKGL and CKWR Radio.

Chef on the Run is the Food Consultant and Technical Director for the television show “Backyard Cookin” shown nationally on the Food Network TV channel. This includes menu design, recipe creation for each episode, actual cooking of the foods and final preparation for the cameras.
